Does Leslie Knipfing have any movie credits?

No, and it’s worth saying plainly because so many pages hint otherwise. As of September 2026, searches of film databases turn up no credit under her name. The sites that describe her as a producer or crew member don’t point to a cast or crew list you can check. Biz Well

People assume there must be something. Her brothers work in comedy and film. Kevin James starred in The King of Queens from 1998 to 2007, and Gary Valentine played his cousin Danny Heffernan on the show. When two siblings are that visible, searchers expect the third to have a filmography too. Wikipedia Wikipedia

The credits some sites claim, checked one by one

Several biography pages name specific titles. Here is what the public records say.

Producer of Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (2015). Wikipedia lists Todd Garner, Kevin James, Adam Sandler and Jack Giarraputo as the producers, and IMDbPro shows the same four names. She isn’t on either list. Wikipedia imdb
Producer of Kevin Can Wait. Variety’s report on the show’s cancellation names its executive producers: James, Rock Reuben, Rob Long, Jeff Sussman, Andy Fickman, Tony Sheehan and Steve Mosko. No Knipfing. Variety
“Leadman” on Dark Wall (2012). One site credits her with that job. IMDb’s crew list for Dark Wall gives the leadman credit to Leslie Ridings. It looks like a first-name mix-up. Eprimo imdb
A 1999 appearance on Cutting Edge. The same site says she appeared on a series by that name as a former patient. We couldn’t find a reliable record of it. Eprimo

Why the mix-ups keep happening

Three things feed the confusion.

The first is the family name. Kevin James was born Kevin George Knipfing, and pages about him and Gary Valentine mention Leslie only in passing. Wikipedia

The second is another Leslie. Leslie Bibb is an actress whose credits include Iron Man and Talladega Nights, and she is one of the stars of Zookeeper, a Kevin James comedy. So a Leslie really did appear in a Kevin James movie. Some websites have even posted Bibb’s photos under the Knipfing name. Leslie Bibb +2

The third is copy-and-paste biography. Even her birth date is a mess. One profile lists April 26, 1965, which is Kevin James’s own birthday. Others give November 17, 1974, and November 17 is also Leslie Bibb’s birthday. No reliable source we found confirms a date for Leslie Knipfing, so we aren’t printing one. Who Is Leslie Knipfing? What Leslie Knipfing actually does

The strongest record is a tax filing. ProPublica’s Nonprofit Explorer, which republishes IRS data, lists Kevin Knipfing and Leslie Knipfing as trustees of the JVK Foundation, a private grantmaking foundation, and shows $0 in compensation for both. The initials match those of their late father, Joseph Valentine Knipfing Jr., and Kevin James’s birth name is Knipfing. The filing itself doesn’t spell out the family link, though. ProPublica

Leslie’s father owned an insurance agency, and he died on January 30, 2006, at age 75. Wikipedia Legacy.com

Beyond that, very little is confirmed. Net worth figures, marital status, height and job histories all show up on bio sites, but none of them trace back to reliable sourcing. Treat them as rumors until someone documents them. Droptechno

The titles you may have been looking for

If you searched for the family’s screen work, these are the real connections:

The King of Queens (CBS, 1998 to 2007): James starred, and Valentine played his cousin Danny. Wikipedia
Zookeeper (2011): James stars alongside Leslie Bibb. Wikipedia
Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (2015): James co-wrote and stars, and Valentine is in the cast. Wikipedia imdb
Kevin Can Wait (CBS, 2016 to 2018): James starred for two seasons, with Valentine as his on-screen older brother, Kyle Gable. Wikipedia Wikipedia

How to check a credit yourself

A short routine catches most of these errors:

Open the title’s Full Cast & Crew page on IMDb and search it for the full name, not just “Leslie.”
Match the last name. The Dark Wall mix-up shows how easily a first name can carry a credit to the wrong person.
Look for a second source, such as a trade outlet like Variety or the film’s own credits.
Be wary of any page that names no source for a credit.
